ARTIST STATEMENT
I am Jing Fu, a landscape and abstract artist born in Shanghai, a city with limited access to natural scenery. Growing up in an urban environment without much exposure to nature has given me a deep desire for the natural world. I find that nature represents a way to escape the noise and stress of city life and find peace and tranquility. Since I started painting at four years old, most of my artwork focuses on capturing the essence of natural landscapes and conveying the emotions and feelings they evoke in me. I use a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, and pastels, to create my paintings. Landscape painting allows me to explore important themes such as the beauty of the natural world, the relationship between humans and the environment, and the impact of climate change. Nature symbolizes freedom to me. Through my artwork, I seek to convey the beauty of natural landscapes and the sense of wonder and appreciation they evoke in me. I hope that my paintings inspire others to appreciate and protect the natural world and raise awareness about important environmental issues. Overall, as an artist, I am dedicated to exploring new techniques and styles in my artwork. My love for nature is evident in my paintings, which often feature natural landscapes and convey a sense of awe and appreciation for the natural world. I hope that my pursuit of nature in my art allows me to create meaningful connections with my audience and convey the importance of protecting our planet for future generations.
